Everyday Utility Workflow

These tools solve specific recurring problems that would otherwise require mental math, manual searching, or wrestling with spreadsheets. Each one does one thing well and runs entirely in your browser.

WiFi and Connectivity Tools

The WiFi QR Code Generator creates a scannable QR code for your network password. Guests scan it with their phone camera and connect instantly — no password typing needed. The code encodes your SSID, password, and security type and works with all modern smartphones.

Date and Time Planning

The Business Days Calculator counts working days between two dates, excluding weekends and optionally US federal holidays — essential for project deadlines and contract timelines. The Hours Between Calculator handles time differences spanning midnight. The Time Zone Meeting Planner shows overlapping work hours for participants across multiple cities simultaneously, making it easy to find times when everyone is in normal business hours (9am-6pm local).

Marketing and Analytics Tools

The UTM Builder creates properly formatted campaign tracking URLs for Google Analytics with all five parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content) — no more guessing parameter names or making typos that break tracking.

Reference and Compliance Tools

The Sales Tax by State Calculator shows current state and local rates for any US state — rates range from 0% (Oregon, Montana) to 7.25% (California base rate). The SSL Certificate Expiry Calculator shows days remaining until a certificate expires. The Room TV Size Calculator recommends optimal screen sizes based on viewing distance. The Wire Gauge Calculator determines the correct AWG wire size for any ampacity and run length for electrical work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a WiFi QR code secure to display publicly?

A WiFi QR code encodes your network password in a scannable format. Anyone who can scan the code can connect to your network. Display it only where you would give out your password — in your home, at your business counter, or to trusted guests. It does not transmit your password over the internet.

How does the Business Days Calculator handle holidays?

The calculator excludes weekends by default. You can optionally include US federal holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and others). It counts all working days between two dates, inclusive of both endpoints if they are working days.

Which states have no sales tax?

Five states have no state-level sales tax: Oregon, Montana, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Alaska. Alaska has no state tax but some localities charge up to 7.5%. The Sales Tax by State Calculator shows both state and average local rates for any US state.
