How to Play Virtual Spin the Bottle
This free spin the bottle game brings the classic party activity online — no actual bottle required. It works great on any phone or tablet, making it easy to pass around the table.
Step 1: Add Your Players
Type each player's name on a separate line in the Players box on the left. You can add 2 to 20 players. Names are automatically saved for next time, so you don't have to re-enter them.
Step 2: Spin the Bottle
Click the big pink "Spin the Bottle!" button. The animated bottle rotates with a realistic deceleration, slowing down before landing on a randomly selected player. The selected player's badge lights up with a glow effect and confetti celebrates.
Step 3: Optional Dare Mode
Toggle "Show dare after spin" to reveal a fun party dare for whoever the bottle points to. Dares are family-friendly by default. The dare appears under the winner's name after each spin.
Track Your Spins
The Spin History panel records the last 10 spins, so you can see patterns and make sure everyone gets equal attention across rounds.
Tips for a Great Spin the Bottle Night
For the best experience, use spin the bottle on a shared screen or tablet that everyone can see. Pass the device to each new spinner, or let one player be the spinner for a whole round. The tool remembers your player list between sessions, so you can take breaks and come right back.

Can I save player names for next time?
Yes, player names are automatically saved to localStorage and will be there when you return. You can also clear them and start fresh.
How is the random player selected?
A cryptographically-seeded random number picks the target player, then a smooth CSS animation spins the bottle to land exactly there. Every spin is genuinely random.
