How to Use the Disc Golf Scorecard
A digital disc golf scorecard makes it easy to track your round hole by hole without carrying paper. This free scorecard shows running +/- vs par so you always know exactly where you stand.
Step 1: Set Course and Player Info
Enter the course name and your player name. Click "Set All Par 3" to quickly set every hole to par 3 (standard for most courses), or change individual holes for longer courses with par 4 or par 5 holes. Most 18-hole disc golf courses are par 54 (all par 3s).
Step 2: Enter Scores as You Play
After completing each hole, enter your score in the Score column. The card automatically calculates your hole +/- versus par and running total. Color-coded result badges show birdies (green), par (gray), bogeys (yellow), and doubles+ (red) at a glance.
Step 3: Review Your Round Stats
The summary section at the bottom counts your eagles, birdies, pars, and bogeys. Your round is automatically saved — return to the page and your scores will still be there. Use New Round to start fresh for your next game.
FAQ
Is this scorecard free?
Yes, completely free with no signup required. All data is stored locally in your browser.
Is my scorecard data private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser. Your scores are saved locally using localStorage — they're never sent to any server.
How many players can I track?
This scorecard tracks a single player's round with hole-by-hole scoring, running +/- vs par, and a final summary. For multi-player scoring, use the Disc Golf Handicap Calculator which supports up to 16 players.
What is par in disc golf?
Par is the expected number of throws for a skilled player to complete a hole. Most disc golf holes are par 3, with some par 4 and par 5 holes on longer courses. An 18-hole course is typically par 54-72. Scoring a hole in fewer throws than par is a birdie (-1) or eagle (-2).
Does the scorecard save my round?
Yes. Your current round is automatically saved to localStorage. If you close and reopen the page, your scores will be restored. You can reset anytime with the New Round button.
What do the hole indicators mean?
Green badges indicate birdies (1 under par) or better. Gray indicates par. Yellow indicates bogey (+1). Red indicates double bogey or worse (+2 or more). These color codes help you quickly scan your round performance.
